The tour will start from your hotel in Rome at 09.00 o'clock where one of our driving guides (perfectly bilingual) will be waiting for you at the reception. We will leave then for Ostia Antica.
Ostia Antica can be reached in around 40 minute driving from Rome and once in there the show will begin.
You will find yourself in an unreal place. Ruins, ancient roads and paths, mosaics on the floor, little amphitheatres: Ostia Antica...it will be like being back in time, you feel it...it is amazing.
Ostia Antica was initially built to be the first port of Rome. In a second period Ostia became a very important commercial centre with over 100.000 inhabitants. You will be walking through a very old road, the main road of Ostia Antica, the so-called DECUMANUS MAXIMUS.
It will be a dream.

to dress respectfully for the visit to religious buildings: knees and shoulders covered;
to take with you comfortable walking shoes if possible;
to keep an eye on your wallet; it is recommended not to wear precious jewelry or large amount of cash;

Entrance to Ostia Antica 04,50 euro per pax. Closed on Mondays.
Audio-guides 4 euro.

RATE:

Price DOES NOT include neither lunch nor entrance fees.

Note that the driver will not enter sites but will give running commentaries of what you are seeing The vehicle will escort you for the entire tour .Walking is limited unlike bus tour where you have to walk the whole day.
