At 08.00 o'clock am one of our expert bilingual Driving-guides will be waiting for you at the pier as you disembark the ship holding a sign with your name on.
This tour has been designed for those who have already been in Florence and Pisa and want therefore to experience something new and wonderful.
After having left the port in around 1 h 30 minute driving through magnificent roads up an down the hills of the Tuscan Countryside we will reach San Gimignano, a great medieval town famous for its many towers. It is called indeed the Manhattan of Italy. You will have free time to explore the wonderful little town but be back, because the tour must go on!
After having left San Gimignano, we will all head for Siena...
Founded by Augustus around the time of birth of Christ, the city became a wealthy and powerful rival of Florence during the late middle age. Today Siena offers to visitors a fascinating passageway to the Renaissance. You will have time to visit Piazza del Duomo. It is the site of the annual spectacular Palio horse race, Piazza del Duomo, where the Cathedral and the most outstanding buildings stand.
It will be then time to go back to the pier where the tour will end at 05.00 o'clock p.m.
